Building a Sustainable Energy Future.
Program Schedule: July 14 to July 25, 2025

Program Description:
The summer camp will delve deeper into the significance of energy futures in the context of globalization, while exploring Taiwan’s future development and the challenges it faces.
Participants will also have the chance to create innovative business ideas in the energy and environmental sectors, contributing positively to the global environment and public health.
Aimed at equipping participants with the essential knowledge and skills to tackle complex sustainability issues, the camp will provide opportunities to engage in discussions on various sustainability topics with like-minded individuals from across the globe. Additionally, there will be Chinese language courses offered to help participants better understand the cultural and linguistic aspects related to the region, enhancing their overall experience.

Topic 1: Development of Internet of Things and Smart Energy-Saving Systems
* Upon completing this course, you will earn 1 credit. |
These tutorial guides students through the steps of installing the operating system, setting up the system, and configuring the network. The goal is to provide students with a solid foundation for using Raspberry Pi, starting from the basics. Students will gain the ability to remotely control the device, transfer files through SSH connections, and develop essential skills needed for Raspberry Pi-based projects. |

Topic 2: Navigating the expansion of social innovation in Taiwan

In this class, we will explore the development trajectory of social innovation in Taiwan and connect the SDGs with local social issues. Additionally, we will examine the essence of social entrepreneurship and discuss how business strategies can be applied to address societal challenges. |

The Mandarin Basic Ⅰ class is a course that helps students build their language foundation within a short period of time so they can handle problems with daily life. (ex. Basic phonics, self-introduction, numbers, shopping, paying, ordering food, telling time, etc.) |

Refund Policy for Individual Registration (all dates are local (Taiwan) time)
- The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The program fee is:
- Fully refundable if NTHU cancels the program.
- 90% refundable if the student drops before May 14, 2025.
- 70% refundable if the student drops between May 15 to June 9, 2025.
- 50% refundable if the student drops between June 10 to July 7, 2025.
- Not refundable if the student drops after July 8, 2025.
- The refund process will take one to one and half months to complete and it will be notified via email after the remittance has been made. The refund bank transaction fee will be borne by the applicant.
- Please download the “Refund Regulations and Application Form” and then submit the completed form before the deadline.
- We reserve the right to assess the program’s viability by May 26. If the minimum enrollment requirement is not reached, the program may be canceled, and refunds will be issued accordingly.
Please check your registration details and apply for a refund or modification within the appropriate time frame to ensure your rights.
Eligibility:
An applicant must be at least 20 years old or who is currently studying for a bachelor / master degree.
